SUMMARY:Dive the Cement wreck ( Oost Vlaanderen )
DESCRIPTION:Dive type: Boat\nNumber of dives: 1 \nMin cert AOW \n\nMin age 15\n\n  \nA great wreck to dive on is the Cement Wreck\, formed of the Oost Vlaanderen – a Dutch ship which was captured by the Nazis during WWII and then sunk by the RAF. The wreck sits at about 33 m below the surface\, south-east of St. Peter Port. Conger eels and lobsters both hide out within the ship\, which has remained relatively intact and is a generally safe wreck to visit\, despite its depth. Ropes off at 15:20 prompt @ Havelet slip so give your self time to set up we MUST leave at 15:20 \nKit Hire \n  \nKit Hire \n

We will send you an e -learning code so you can brush up on your theory and then we will take you on an open water dive for the skills refresher. Once completed you will receive recognition of completion from Padi. \nCompletion  will ensure you are comfortable   in the water allowing you to get the most out of your scuba holiday \, also completing with us before you go means you will save time when you get there\, you will be dive ready. \nKit is included but you will need your own mask and snorkel available from our new shop in St Andrews. \nIf you have your own kit then this is a great time to make sure it is all working properly just let us know if you have your own.

A dry suit seals you off from the water and keeps you comfortable\, even in surprisingly cold water. There is incredible diving in the world’s cooler regions and in some areas\, conditions are even better in colder months. Becoming a dry suit diver allows you to expand your boundaries and dive more places\, more often. \n  \n  \nWhat will you learn?\nThe first thing you’ll discover is which dry suit style and accompanying undergarments are right for you and the diving you’ll do. Then you’ll learn how to take care of your drysuit. During two dives\, after an Dry suit orientation in the shallow  water \, you’ll practice: \n  \n\nPutting on and taking off your dry suit with minimal assistance.\nMastering buoyancy control using your dry suit.\nDive safety procedures when using a dry suit.\nTheory : via e-Learning\n\n  \nAll dates and times for this course\nDive one 13-04-24 meet Rousse at 09:00 till 12:00 \nDive Two 14-04-24 meet Havelet bay east slip at 10:00 till 13:00 \n
