DESCRIPTION:All profits from this event/Padi specialty course will go in our Help-Margo fund raising pot.\nAbout the Course\n\n\n\nKnowing how and when to administer emergency oxygen is a valuable skill to have in a dive emergency. PADI® Emergency Oxygen Provider prepares you to offer aid and teaches you to recognize scuba diving injuries and illnesses requiring emergency oxygen. \nThis is an excellent course for scuba divers\, boat crew\, lifeguards\, freedivers\, mermaids or anyone who spends time in and around water. No age restrictions or water sessions required. \nStep 1 \nPADI eLearning\n\n\n\nPADI eLearning makes it easy to fit lessons into a busy schedule. Study online or offline using a computer or mobile device. Connect with your instructor if you have questions. \n\neLearning time commitment: 2-4 hours\n\n\n\nStep 2.\nWith Your Instructor\n\n\n\nYou’ll practice assembling and disassembling oxygen equipment for a quick response in an emergency. Your instructor will teach you how to deploy a non-rebreather mask and a demand inhalator valve on a breathing diver. You’ll also learn how to attach a rescue breathing mask to an oxygen unit to resuscitate a non-breathing diver. \nWhat You’ll Learn\n\nIdentify  when oxygen is needed for scuba diving and water-related injuries and illnesses.\nAid a diver if decompression sickness is suspected.\nAssemble an oxygen unit and administer emergency oxygen.
