IDC with Steve Prior.

Now back from Sharm El Sheikh and a very successful IDC with Platinum PADI CD Steve prior and the lovely Janet Prior PADI IDC Staff Instructor. There were 4 candidates including Donkey Divers own, Nick Loveridge. The lovely Deane from Corsica, and I were IDC Staff Instructor candidates. I am pleased to say that thanks to Steve and Janet ( Prior Knowledge ) we were all successful, so onward and upwards I think. Nick also did five specialties Instructor ratings and I have added another two to my collection. We now have some new exciting specialties to add to the already extensive list offered on our web site. They are O2 provider, Multi level diver, and SMB specialty. I am now really looking forward to working with Nick, as Donkey Divers welcomes him on board as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. Our boat Great White has had a complete service ready for the 2014 season plus a few exciting extras for her. So all we need now is the viz to improve and the wind to go away so we can enjoy some good local diving.
Kind Regards
Steve Bougourd MD Donkey Divers.

I’m off training

Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know that certain services are being suspended for a few weeks as I am off to complete my Staffing and IDC certifications in Egypt… someone has to do it 😉

No kit hire will be available from now until March 10th and, of course, I’ll not be out diving until I get back.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused but this is great for Donkey Divers in general.

See you all soon.

SANTA RUN , TEAM Donkey Divers.

We would really like to get as many of our divers as possible to join us on this fun run on Sunday the 15th December meet 11am Pembroke bay car park, the race will start at 11:30 sharp raising money for ARC http://aidreachingchildren.com/santaFunRun/index.html
This is a fantastic initiative by founder Linder Garnham and has raised lots of money to supply aid to children where it is needed.

You will see if you follow the link the registration fee is £5 + £1 for your Santa suit. OUR idea ( sanctioned by Linder ) is the following.

You pay £15 to run/walk with the Donkey Divers team, you have loads of fun, you each will have a Donkey Divers T shirt to take home.

£15 I hear you ask, this will cover your entry fee,Santa suit, and T shirt and the whole amount will go to ARC, as we are supplying the T shirts this will mean another whopping £9 a head will go to ARC.

Come on guys and girls do us proud and join in the fun let us try and put together a BIG team. All you have to do is the following.

1) Pop into the shop on Saturday ( there are 2 left before the run ) and fill in the registration form.
2) Pay your £15
3) Take away your Donkey Divers T shirt.

If you cannot come in on a Saturday then go to http://aidreachingchildren.com/santaFunRun/index.html and print off a registration form fill it in and pop it in the Donkey Divers letter box with your £15 and your size for your T shirt and I will bring your shirt to the start line.

Sea Dives suspended

Hi Everyone,

I am really sorry but due to illness I am unable to do any sea dives at the moment 🙁 I am sorry if this is inconvenient to students waiting to get in the water but I will be out until the 2nd of December. I will be sending dates to all those waiting, as soon as I am cleared to dive.
Thank you for understanding and i will see you soon.

Kind regards

Steve Bougourd

News update

We can be flexible in the timetabling of your course, whether you want to dive in the evenings or weekends if you are working nine to five, or at any other time of the day if you are working shifts or on holiday. We will even come to your home to provide the classroom portion of your course if this suits you.

We take a special interest in teaching children, and would love to teach you as a family, meaning that there is then something that you can all do together both at home and on holiday. If your children are not old enough to take part in the PADI Junior Scuba Diver or Junior Open Water courses, we can offer PADI Bubblemaker and PADI Seal Team experiences.
